Crossline is a Christian Staffed helpline offering a listening ear. It is part of Coventry City Mission (Regd Charity No: 1090102) and started taking calls in January 1992. In 2009 we received 13,506 calls of which 9,519 were able to be answered . Regular and repeat callers make up a significant number of the calls.
We're Here To Listen - All our listeners are trained on a specialist telephone listening course that is accredited by the Association of Christian Counsellors (ACC). Crossline is also an affiliated member of the ACC.
We are also members of the Helplines Association and Mental Health Helplines Partnership.

Crossline Hull is a confidential Christian Telephone Helpline. It is manned every day from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. by trained Christian listeners. Callers, whether Christian or non-Christian, can ring knowing that they will get a sympathetic ear, regardless of their problem - whether their need is loneliness or a spiritual, physical, mental or emotional problem. Since 1998 it has been sharing Jesus's love and compassion to the people of Hull and surrounding areas. Crossline is an active member of the Christian Helplines Association.

All of our listeners have attended a recognised Acorn Listening Course and are also required to undertake further in house training on a regular basis.

Crossline Scunthorpe & District started operating in 2007. The phone lines in Scunthorpe are staffed locally from 19.00 - 22.00 on Sunday and Wednesday evenings (01724 852244). However they are fully part of the CHA Call Share Project and so callers can ring the 0845 number at any of its advertsied opening times.
All their listeners have completed the ACC accredited CHA/Crossline Coventry Training Course in Telephone Listening.

Premier Lifeline is a confidential helpline offering a listening ear, information, prayer, emotional and spiritual support from a Christian perspective through telephone and email. This confidential service is available to you whoever you are and whatever background you come from. Whatever the issues you are facing, trained Christian volunteers will take your call and pray for you and with you. Prayerline is not a counselling or advice service, it is about praying to God and asking for His help or even saying thank you to Him for what He has already done.
